The Personal Advocate is familiar with the usual and not-so-usual needs of seniors and adults with disabilities and limitations, and is always ready to serve as a creative problem solver.
The clients relationship with the Personal Advocate is built on a foundation of trust and confidentiality. All client information and conversations are held in strict confidence by the members of the Stay at Home America services team. It is the Personal Advocate who will often times be representing the client in conversations with medical or insurance representatives, and therefore will be dealing with very sensitive and personal information.
The Stay at Home America Personal Advocate is formally trained, highly skilled and operates with the highest level of integrity, and undergoes the same rigid screening process of other Stay at Home America employees including a background check.
From assisting the client with complicated forms, to advocating on behalf of the client with agencies and organizations, to just being there to listen and provide emotional support, the Personal Advocate is an invaluable resource available to all Stay at Home America clients.
When a new or potential client first interacts with Stay at Home America, the Personal Advocate is the primary person responsible for arranging the initial meeting and annual assessment, and is also the person who will ultimately determine if the services of a Personal Assistant are required.
