Lifestyle Services

We provide our clients with experienced, professional “advocates” to develop comprehensive lifestyle plans that enable an ongoing, comfortable and practical life at home – within the community and surroundings of friends and family.

Each client is assigned a qualified, well trained Personal Advocate who will meet with the client and/or the client’s family members initially to develop a customized service plan to best address the client’s specific needs. Then, if needed, the advocate will schedule a monthly meeeting to review the client’s situation, any changes in needs, and any problems the client may be having. The Personal Advocate prepares recommendations for any new services that will benefit the client and resolve any of their issues.

The Personal Advocate’s role is to see to the well being and personal lifestyle of the client and ensure their needs are being met. When special assistance is required, the Personal Advocate works closely with the Personal Assistant to provide any services the client may require to make their day-to-day lifestyle dignified, safe and enjoyable.

Services handled by the Personal Advocate and Personal Assistant might include any of the following:

  • Activities of daily living
  • Companion care
  • Transportation – doctors, shopping, church, visiting, errands, etc
  • Help with meal planning and food preparation
  • Coordination with medical and care providers
  • Arranging for ironing, mending and general grooming
  • Assisting with or handling the grocery shopping
  • Walking the family dog / taking pets to the veterinarian
  • General organizing and reminders
  • Developing / recommending solutions to particular problems
